Role description:
The role is placed within the Business Analysis function and reports to the Business Analisys Manager. This is a highly analytical role that requires combining a large amount of data from multiple sources in order to help the main commercial functions of OBI Italy to develop, execute and monitor strategies and action plans that can contribute to profitable and sustainable growth for the company. The ideal candidate has a data-driven approach and is comfortable in both data management and relationships with other corporate functions, and is able to influence the company's strategic commercial and financial decisions. She/He is therefore a real internal consultant for all the commercial functions of OBI Italy, from purchasing to sales, from marketing to logistics, and will be involved in many corporate projects always with the aim of offering the final customer the best customer experience possible.

Your tasks:
- Creation and maintenance of online dashboards using data visualization tool
- Data extraction from the database and reporting process;
- Creation of ad hoc analysis to support the daily business
- Creation of ad hoc tools and instruments to support short and medium term decision-making activities
- Development and maintenance of evaluation models of the sales network and assortments
- Technical and consulting support for the pricing process in collaboration with the purchasing department
- Creation of Power Point presentations
- Participation in multiple projects and task forces on commercial topics
- Planning and monitoring of the projects assigned
- Participation in periodic business review meetings with the main commercial functions
Technical skills:
- Master's degree in Management Engineering or in Economic / Financial / Statistics disciplines
- Work experience as Business Analyst of at least 5 years, in multinational structured companies
- Experience in the retail / specialized large-scale distribution market (nice to have)
- Strong knowledge of the Office package (in particular Excel, Access and Power Point)
- Knowledge of data visualization softwares (eg. Microstrategy Library, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Knowledge of VB language and VBA programming (nice to have)
- Minimum knowledge of SQL language (nice to have)
- English Language (level B2)
